If you are not completely new to using the Divi theme, I believe you know that besides the standard menu bar, Divi has a secondary menu bar, too. In most cases, it is used to display your email address and phone number. With some customizations, it is also possible to add, for example, social icons to it as well.
Firstly, let’s mention some basics like how do you enable the secondary menu. All you need to do is to just fill in your contact email, phone number or both in the Divi theme customizer and as soon as you fill it in, the menu bar shall start showing on your Divi website. You need to enter these details in your WordPress dashboard in Customize > Header & Navigation > Header Elements.
Then you can also set the background and text color of it in Customize > Header & Navigation > Secondary Menu Bar. By default, the menu bar will show as a blue stripe at the top of your website (above your primary menu bar).
If for some reason you would like to show the phone/email number only and not show the phone/email icon with it at all, read on. I will explain how to do it.
The only thing that you need to do is to add some custom CSS code to your Divi theme options custom CSS field or to your Divi child theme stylesheet style.css file (if you don’t know what is a child theme and why you should use one, you can read this article about it).
To make the phone icon not show, use this code:
And to make the email icon not show, use this code:
And that’s all there is to this. It is pretty simple. We just need to use the display: none CSS selector for our particular CSS elements.
